Meghan Rabbitt is a writer and editor whose work is published in magazines such as Women’s Health, Redbook, Fitness, Runner’s World, Prevention, Parents, Weight Watchers, and many more. She’s also written extensively for online outlets, including Yahoo!, TotalBeauty.com, CanyonRanch.com, Woman’sDay.com, and DivineCaroline.com, to name a few.
Meghan started her career at Parenting magazine in New York City. For six years, she wrote about everything from sippy cups and strollers to playdates and paternity leave. When she moved to Boulder, Colo., she became the senior editor of Alternative Medicine magazine, where she helped launch a redesign and repositioning (including a name change to Natural Solutions), edited all features, and started doing yoga and eating organic foods. Two years later, Meghan was tapped to become the deputy editor of Natural Health magazine in Los Angeles. In that role, she top-edited all features and departments, created new columns, and continued to fill her reusable shopping bags with kale at the farmer’s market.
In June 2011, Meghan became executive editor of TotalBeauty.com, a website with more than 3 million unique visitors per month. Within a year, both direct traffic and SEO traffic had doubled, and Meghan was also named executive editor of TotalBeauty.com’s sister site, BeautyRiot.com. During her time at Total Beauty Media, Meghan was the lead journalist on both sites, helping to drive and maintain all aspects of the digital content strategy, including SEO, e-commerce, and integrated marketing.
Currently, Meghan is a full-time freelance writer and editor. She also produces monthly e-newsletters for businesses, including a popular Los Angeles Pilates studio and a celebrity esthetician’s salon. Meghan also works with authors to ghost write and edit their books. Her most recent book editing project is “The Savvy Girl’s Guide to Wine.”
